Hantek officially launches the CC-2000A AC/DC Current Clamp. It delivers a convenient high-current waveform and data measurement solution for high-power power supply commissioning, inverter motor drive, and power electronic equipment testing. Compatible directly with oscilloscopes and multimeters for AC/DC current measurement, it requires no wire disconnection or stripping, greatly improving efficiency in power electronics R&D and troubleshooting.

Product Features

In test scenarios such as power electronics and motor drive, traditional high-current measurement usually requires breaking the circuit and stripping cable insulation. Test preparation is cumbersome, and there are pain points including damage to original wiring and introduced measurement risks. The CC-2000A adopts an openable clamp design. It needs no disruption to the current loop or insulation stripping; AC and DC current measurement can be completed simply by clamping the wire. It supports a maximum measurable AC/DC current of 2000A, meeting the on-site commissioning requirements of high-power equipment.

Built with a permalloy magnetic core and Hall sensor elements, the CC-2000A linearly converts AC/DC current into a voltage signal. Dual-range output is available to suit diverse measurement needs:

10mV/A range: Measuring range 1A~200A (DC or AC RMS), peak current 300A pk.

1mV/A range: Measuring range 1A~2000A (DC or AC RMS), peak current 3000A pk.

Product bandwidth: DC ~10kHz (-3dB), supporting both DC steady-state and low-frequency dynamic current capture.

For device compatibility, this current clamp is equipped with a standard BNC connector. It can be directly connected to an oscilloscope to view real-time current waveforms. With a BNC-to-banana plug adapter, it can also connect to a multimeter for current value reading. One probe fulfills both waveform observation and numerical reading, matching engineers’ daily workflow of using oscilloscopes and multimeters simultaneously.
